Saturday’s Cranksgiving Alleycat was awesome! After announcing his move to PA , Tone passed the torch to Ken to organize the annual charity race, and Ken pulled it off well with a befuddling manifest and some great prizes. Nearly 100 riders showed up. Get all the juicy details from Courtney and Sara, a triathlete/spin students who came out for the ride.
Cranksgiving is the only annual alleycat for charity. With the exception of the occasional alleycat to benefit a fallen messenger or the NYBMA emergency fund, most races raise just enough to cover costs. Until now. Our teammate Crihs has decided to throw a Toys for Tots race on Dec 22nd with one ghetto-a** flyer!
It’s a great idea, and I hope to see everyone there. Maybe this will be the start of another annual charity race in NYC!
